Amorphous alloy distribution transformer iron core is made of amorphous alloy strip. The amorphous magnetic material thickness is very thin which is only 0.025mm. This material is featured with low magnetizing power, high resistivity and small eddy current loss. The hysteresis loss and eddy current losses are significantly lower than the grain oriented silicon steel sheet. For the iron core made of amorphous alloy material, its no-load loss and no-load current is quite low. The no-load loss of transformer product with amorphous alloy iron core is 60% lower than the S11 type transformer’s. The cross section of the amorphous alloy iron core is in rectangle shape; it’s three phase with five columns. The surrounding of iron core is protected by frameworks with reasonable and compact structure.
